How Can I Request a Refund for My Purchase?

We understand that sometimes things don’t go as expected, and you may need a refund. The process to request a refund depends on the platform through which you made your purchase. Here's how to proceed based on your device:

For iOS/macOS purchases (via Apple)

If you subscribed through the App Store on an iPhone, iPad, or Mac, we’re unable to issue the refund directly. Apple handles all payment processing and refund requests.

Note: This is the only possible method to request a refund for purchases made through iOS/macOS. When you purchase or subscribe to an app through the App Store, all payment details are handled exclusively by Apple and linked directly to your Apple ID. For privacy reasons, Apple does not share any billing information with app developers—including us. This means we are unable to process, track, or approve any refund requests.

In some situations, Apple Support may mistakenly suggest that you contact the app developer for a refund, but please be aware that only Apple has the authority to review and issue refunds for purchases made on their platform. If Apple has rejected the same application twice in a row, that decision is unfortunately final.

For Android purchases (via Google Play)

If you purchased your subscription through the Google Play Store, please follow the instructions provided by Google at this link:

For Web Browser purchases (via our website)

If you subscribed using the web version of our app (outside of Apple or Google Play), here's how to request a refund:

  1. Send an email to support@teleprompter.com
  2. Include your payment receipt, which you received from Paddle (our payment provider).
  3. Make sure your request is submitted within 30 days of the original purchase date.

Refunds can only be processed if all the above conditions are met.
