Why Aren’t My Videos Syncing Between Devices?

At the moment, Cloud Sync in Teleprompter.com is available only for scripts, not for recorded videos.

This means that any videos you record are saved locally on the device you used to create them. If you switch devices, your recordings will not automatically transfer with your account.

What Does This Mean?

  • Scripts: Automatically backed up and synced across devices (as long as Cloud Sync is enabled under Settings > My Account > Cloud Sync)
  • Videos: Stored only on the local device where they were recorded

How Can I Access My Videos on Another Device?

If you'd like to view or edit your recordings on another phone, tablet, or computer, you'll need to manually transfer them. Here are a few recommended methods:

✅ For Apple Devices (iOS/macOS):

  • Use AirDrop to quickly send videos between iPhone, iPad, and Mac
  • Save to iCloud Drive and access from other devices using the Files app
  • Share to your Photos app, then sync with iCloud Photos

✅ For Android Devices:

  • Upload to Google Drive or another cloud storage service (e.g., OneDrive, Dropbox)
  • Use a USB cable to transfer files manually to a computer
  • Send the video to yourself via email or a messaging app if the file size allows
